Design, Programming, Hosting and Domain Fees
One of the first questions that people ask is "how much is this web site going to cost me?" There is no easy answer to that question because it depends on your needs and what you want your site to do.
Rest assured that Jazz Harmony Designs will work efficiently and economically to meet your needs from a single page site to a large site with many features.
Design, Programming & Modification
Most of the services that Jazz Harmony Designs provides are based on an hourly charge of $50 per hour charged in 15 minute increments (i.e. $12.50 for each 15 minute period). The items that are charged at this rate are:
- Web Site Layout and Design
- Graphic Design
- Web Site Optimization
- Page Code "Clean Up"
- Page/Site Re-Design
- Search Engine Optimization (i.e. keywords, etc.)
- Search Engine Submission
- Flash Animation Creation
- Database Design
- Database Entry
Other services that you may need will be charged appropriately on a case by case basis. These other items may include:
- Video Editing
- Audio Editing
- Advanced Flash Programming
- Web Site Management (if hosted elsewhere)
- Domain Name Management (if registered elsewhere)
Hosting Your Site
If you choose to have Jazz Harmony Designs host your site for you, there are 2 options:
- Billed Monthly at $11.99 per month
- Billed Annually at $9.99 per month (only $119.88 per year)
Your Domain Name
Jazz Harmony Designs can easily take care of obtaining the domain name(s) of your choice (if available) and set up your hosting so you don't have to concern yourself with the details of getting your site on the internet. If you choose to have us take care of your domain name and hosting, there are are 2 options:
- With the Billed Monthly hosting plan, each domain name is $13.99 per year (billed the first month)
- With the Paid Annually hosting plan, each domain name is only $12.99 per year (billed the first month)
If you choose to register your domain name with another agency, we can manage it for you at no additional cost.
If you choose to register your domain name through Jazz Harmony Designs and not have your site hosted with us, we can register your domain name and make the appropriate arrangements (pointing the domain to the correct hosting provider) for only $14.99 per year.
Billing
During the design process, invoices will be sent monthly at the end of each month and are due upon receipt. Once the site goes "live" and the work is completed, an invoice will be created for any outstanding fees and will be due upon receipt. If you choose an annual hosting plan, hosting fees for the year will be on the first invoice and you will not need to renew hosting until one year from that date. If you choose a monthly hosting plan, you will receive an invoice at the end of each month for hosting fees and any additional work done on your site (updates, etc.), if any. If you are having us handle your domain registration, this fee will be on your first invoice also and you will not be charged for renewing the domain until one year from that date. Invoices will be sent via email (a pdf or Word document bill sent to the email address of your choice) unless other arrangements are made. Payment may be made by mailing a payment or electronically through PayPal.
